Vinyl Voices Rewind has its launch day in Bury St Edmunds! The home town of Sophie Garner your choir leader who was born in Thurston. 

This jam packed all singing all laughing one day workshop starts with your choice of a glass of presseco or soft drink on arrival.  

You will learn my go to exercises for deeper breathing to improve lung capacity, warming up your voice quickly when your time poor and simple exercises for building power in your voice and increasing you vocal range and improving your mental health and reducing anxiety. 

The core part of the day will be learning 3 classic chart topping hits from the 1980's with harmonies it is during this part of the day we will really pull the songs apart and learn my go to techniques I use successfully within my own choirs. When applied, choir performances have a very powerful impact and connection with the audience. 

These tried and tested exercises will improve your creativity and uplevel your singing to deliver  with more emotion, noticable dynamics and an understanding of voice in connection to song craft. You will look at songs in a totally new, fresh and different way by the end of the workshop! 

You will leave with a tool kit you can apply to the way you approach a song so that you deliver a performance not just rather singing a song. These are two very different things and they have a big impact on what you deliver to an audience and as a result, their reaction.  

The day also includes a selection of teas, coffees cake and biscuits. You just need to bring a packed  lunch.
